Staff Reporter : Airtel, the youth-focused brand of Robi Axiata PLC, has announced a strategic partnership with A1 Esports, one of Bangladesh’s leading esports team. Under this collaboration, A1 Esports will officially serve as Airtel’s Gaming Brand Ambassador,
representing the brand across esports tournaments, live streams, and digital content both locally and internationally.
A1 Esports is widely recognized as one of the country’s most successful PUBG Mobile teams. The team made history as the first Bangladeshi squad to participate in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship. It has secured the PUBG Mobile National Championship title three times and was also crowned the champion of the inaugural season of the Airtel Gaming Arena.
With mobile gaming gaining momentum among the country’s youth, esports have emerged as one of the fastest growing entertainment sectors in Bangladesh. Airtel’s partnership with A1 Esports aims to deepen engagement with this vibrant community and strengthen the brand’s long-term commitment to supporting gamers and the broader esports ecosystem.
