Staff Reporter : JK Lifestyle, one of Bangladesh’s leading lifestyle consulting and organic product suppliers, has recently taken legal action against several fake pages operating by misusing the organization’s identity.
Various fake pages and accounts on the social media platform Facebook have been using and promoting the organization’s brand materials without permission. Additionally, AI-generated fake videos of Dr. Jahangir Kabir are being used to promote various products, creating confusion among consumers.
On 19 May 2025, Ikhlas Uddin, Administrative Manager of Ultimate Organic Life, a sister concern of JK Lifestyle, filed a General Diary (GD) as the plaintiff at the Badda Police Station of the DMP. The GD stated that some fake pages are promoting and selling products on social media by claiming JK Lifestyle and its sister concern’s name, logo, images, and products as their own. As a result,
the organization’s reputation and credibility are being stained. As well as the organization is facing financial losses. This legal measures have been taken to uphold the organization’s reputation, ensure overall security, and protect consumers from being deceived in the future.
In particular, fake promotions and product sales using the organization’s identity on social media can mislead consumers. Verifying AI-generated videos to confirm the involvement of any individual,

product, or organization may not be possible for many people. Therefore, JK Lifestyle has urged consumers not to make purchases or payments without verifying any flashy advertisements, videos, products, or offers circulated online.
Regarding this matter, Md Ariful Islam, deputy managing director of JK Lifestyle Ltd, said, “Consumer trust and awareness are extremely important to us.
Any page, advertisement, or video using the name or image of JK Lifestyle and Dr. Jahangir Kabir must be verified beforehand. To maintain consumer trust, we request that purchases and financial transactions be made exclusively through our official communication channels and authorized sales centers.
This GD has been filed precisely to prevent consumers from being deceived through fake pages and AI videos. JK Lifestyle will not be liable to bear any losses incurred due to confusion caused by AI videos or from purchasing and making payments through fake pages.”
