Syed Akhlaq Uddin Mansur.(Habiganj) : Correspondent: Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Habiganj District Unit – Former four-time chairman of Madhabpur Upazila Parishad Alhaj Syed Md. Shahjahan has been elected as the Vice President in the election of the Executive Committee for the term of 2026 – 2028.
He was elected Vice President in the Executive Committee meeting held at Habiganj District Unit on Monday (November 02).
With his election, a new responsibility began in the Habiganj District Red Crescent Society Executive Committee. When the news of this election spread throughout the district,
messages of joy and good wishes spread among professionals of various classes including Habiganj district and upazila media.
Alhaj Syed Md. Shahjahan has been involved in political, social and public welfare activities in Madhabpur Upazila for a long time.

He is an honest and simple-minded person. While serving as a public representative of Madhabpur Upazila Parishad,
he was involved in the development of each union and municipal council of the upazila, public service and various social activities. Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is a humanitarian voluntary organization.
Bangladesh Red Crescent Society conducts various humanitarian activities including disaster relief activities, relief distribution, healthcare, blood donation and standing by the helpless people.
