The chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the fair was Mr. Mohammad Zahirul Islam, President of Bangladesh Computer Association, Managing Director of Smart Technologies BD Limited, and Advisor of IDB BCS Computer City. Mr. Gautam Saha, Managing Director of Excel Technologies Limited and Advisor to the Management Committee of IDB’s BCS Computer City, was the special guest at the inaugural ceremony. Mr. Mohammad Jasim Uddin Khondaker, Deputy Managing Director of Global Brand PLC and Advisor to IDB’s BCS Computer City, was also present as special guests.
BCS Computer City President Akhtar Hossain Khan presided over the inaugural ceremony of City IT Mega Fair-2025. He said, “The aim of this fair is to create a connection between the consumers and sellers of technology products. At the same time, the visitors of the fair will be able to know about all the new technology products available in the country’s market through this fair. In addition to discounts on shopping, there will be various events for buyers and visitors at the fair. There will be a drawing competition for children and teenagers.”
