Under his leadership, the quality of education in the institution has improved significantly. He is playing an important role in achieving good results by ensuring the active participation of students in co-curricular activities in addition to regular teaching. Every year, he has set an education-friendly example by providing free education to poor, talented and disabled students by filling out forms.
According to the institution’s sources, in 2010, Principal Sheikh Md. Rakibul Islam, who was a victim of Awami League’s wrath in the then political context, faced various adverse situations and was unfairly dismissed from his job. After a long four-year legal battle, he was reinstated in 2014 after the court ruled that the government order was illegal. Later, the false cases filed against him by Awami League at various times were proven false during the investigation.
Currently, under his leadership, Bahadurpur Technical School and College is being considered an example for other educational institutions in Singra Upazila in terms of discipline, results, and overall management.
Principal Sheikh Md. Rakibul Islam is the son of the late Sheikh Riaz Uddin, former chairman of Chamari Union of Singra Upazila. He is currently serving as the Assistant
Commissioner of Natore District Scouts. During his student life, he achieved the highest rank of Cadet Under Officer (CUO) of Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC).
