
Staff Reporter : Mobile operator Robi Axiata PLC partnered with PUBG Mobile Rising Star, a grassroots-level competitive tournament organised by the popular mobile game PUBG Mobile, as part of its ongoing engagement with Bangladesh’s gaming community.

The initiative reflects Robi’s effort to connect more closely with the country’s gaming ecosystem. The tournament was held nationwide in an online format, with Robi supporting outreach activities through awareness roadshows at universities to engage with gamers. Following multiple qualifying rounds, the grand finale took place on 15 January at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology in Dhaka, where the country’s top 15 teams competed for the title.
In competitive multiplayer games like PUBG Mobile, network performance plays a critical role.
