Staff Reporter : The Front Page (TFP), one of the leading digital media outlets in Bangladesh, is celebrating its fifth anniversary. During this time, the company has focused on building social-first journalism , sustainable digital media business models, and decentralized news infrastructure. Starting as a small swipe-first experiment , The Front Page has now become a familiar and trusted media brand among young and mobile-savvy readers. The platform currently has a following of several hundred thousand and its content is receiving millions of views across various platforms every month .

From the beginning, The Front Page has presented news not just as content , but also in a way that is suitable for reading on mobile. The foundation of their editorial work is short-form visual explanatory content , fact-based and unbiased presentation, and regular verification. At the same time , through a clearly identified GPI advertising system, The Front Page has developed a business model where editorial credibility is intact even though the advertiser presence is assured .
The organization, through its contributors spread across the country, presents diverse local perspectives. During times of crisis, such as the July 2024 mass protests and internet blackouts , when misinformation was rampant , The Front Page has solidified its position as a reliable source of information .

Shah Md. Aqib Majumdar , co-founder of The Front Page, said , “ Our policy during times of crisis is to be responsible , impartial, and transparent, and to always prioritize the truth, even if there is a slight delay in disclosing information. We believe that , especially in uncertain times, accuracy of information and people’s trust are more important than speed.”

“ People don’t just look for breaking news headlines—they want information that they can trust and that helps them understand the situation, ” said Fasbir Eskander , another co-founder of the digital media outlet. “Our job is to create information-based awareness. We don’t want to predict the future , but rather to explain things to people in simple language and with simple examples.”
In addition to serving regular news to subscribers, The Front Page is being developed by The Blank Page , a decentralized news initiative that will allow verified local content creators from different regions of the country to create and publish news under the same rules , tools, and framework .
Entering its sixth year, The Front Page plans to further expand its decentralized contributor network , strengthen fact-checking and security measures , increase bilingual Bengali-English content, and increase collaboration with various partners on media literacy and digital safety .
