
Staff Reporter : Ambassador Yao Wen Meets with Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism H.E. Afroza Khanam Rita and State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism H.E. M. Rashiduzzaman Millat

On 11 March, Ambassador Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh’s Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism H.E. Afroza Khanam Rita, and State Minister H.E. M. Rashiduzzaman Millat. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on strengthening people-to-people exchanges and enhancing cooperation in the fields of civil aviation and tourism between China and Bangladesh.
Ambassador Yao congratulated Minister Rita and State Minister Millat on assuming their new posts. He noted that people-to-people exchanges constitute an important foundation of China–Bangladesh relations and have played an important role in promoting cooperation across various fields between the two countries.

China stands ready to further strengthen policy coordination with Bangladesh, expand cooperation in civil aviation and the tourism industry, and encourage greater two-way travel, so as to inject new impetus into the development of China–Bangladesh relations.

The Bangladeshi side extended its appreciation to Ambassador Yao for his congratulations and conveyed gratitude for China’s long-standing and steadfast support for Bangladesh’s economic and social development.
They stated that Bangladesh is willing to further strengthen cooperation with China in the fields of civil aviation and tourism, promote people-to-people exchanges, and make positive contributions to deepening the friendship between the two countries.
