Staff Reporter : The country’s leading retail company Swapna has brought some relief to the life of 12-year-old Samia Akhter of Pohnkucha Paschim Para in Bagmara Dakshin Union of Lalmai Upazila of Comilla. The company has taken the initiative to stand by the child in financial crisis and provide long-term support.
Recently, at a locally organized event, Swapna handed over a check of 5,000 taka to Samiya. Under the supervision of the local chairman, she will be able to earn 5,000 taka every month,
which will play an important role in meeting her education and daily needs. In this way, Swapna authorities have announced a donation of 480,000 taka for Samiya’s future.
A senior official of Swapna said , “ We believe that even small initiatives can bring big changes in someone’s life. By standing by Samia, we acted out of that sense of responsibility.”
According to local residents , such assistance is a great hope for a poor family. They hope that this regular support will help build Samia’s future.
