
Staff Reporter : Prime Bank PLC., in collaboration with Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) and its Outreach Program department, organized a seminar titled “Financial Inclusion: Engaging & Inspiring Youth in Banking” under its flagship PrimeAcademia initiative.

The event was graced by SAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Latif as Chief Guest, who emphasized that financial inclusion is vital for sustainable development and youth empowerment. Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Belal Hossain, Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Abul Bashar, and Director (Outreach Program) Professor Dr. Mohammad Zamshed Alam also highlighted the importance of financial literacy and leadership skills for students.
From Prime Bank, Deputy Managing Director (HR) Ziaur Rahman, in his keynote address, highlighted the Bank’s role in youth career development, women empowerment, and financial inclusion through innovative initiatives. Senior EVP & Head of Liability, Shaila Abedin, shared the Bank’s youth-focused journey, while SVP & Head of Financial Inclusion & School Banking, M M Mahbub Hasan, underscored the role of financial literacy in inclusive growth and nurturing future leaders.

The seminar also emphasized industry-academia collaboration, with both Prime Bank and SAU reaffirming their commitment to strengthening partnerships through student-focused initiatives, research collaborations, and skill development programs.
